How Motion TSS Protects Children
As a student transportation service, we take extra care to protect children's information:

Children do not create accounts. Only parents/guardians and authorized transportation personnel manage student information.

Parents have full control over their children's information and can request deletion at any time.

🚫 No Marketing to Children
We never use children's information for marketing or advertising purposes.
Information We Collect About Students
To provide safe and reliable student transportation services, we collect limited information about students:
Information Provided by Parents/Guardians:
- Student Name: To identify the student for pickup and dropoff
- Grade/School: To organize transportation routes
- Pickup/Dropoff Locations: Home address and school location
- Emergency Contact Information: In case of emergencies
- Special Needs or Instructions: Any accommodations needed for safe transport
Information We DO NOT Collect from Children:
- Email addresses of children
- Phone numbers of children
- Social media accounts
- Photos or videos of children
- Biometric data
- Any information for marketing purposes
Important: All student information is provided by parents/guardians or authorized school/transportation personnel - never by the children themselves.
How We Use Student Information
Student information is used exclusively for:
- Transportation Services: Facilitating safe pickup and dropoff
- Parent Notifications: Alerting parents when their child is picked up or dropped off
- Safety Records: Maintaining records for safety and compliance purposes
- Route Optimization: Improving transportation efficiency
- Emergency Response: Contacting parents/guardians in case of emergencies
We Never:
- Share student information with advertisers or marketers
- Sell any student data to third parties
- Use student information for profiling or behavioral tracking
- Allow children to interact publicly through our service
Who Can Access Student Information
Access to student information is strictly limited to:

All personnel with access to student information are required to maintain confidentiality and use the information solely for transportation purposes.
Parental Rights Under COPPA
As a parent or guardian, you have the following rights:
1. Right to Review
You can review all personal information we have collected about your child by logging into your parent account or contacting us.
2. Right to Delete
You can request deletion of your child's personal information at any time. See our Data Deletion page for instructions.
3. Right to Refuse Collection
You can refuse to allow further collection of your child's information. Note that this may affect our ability to provide transportation services.
4. Right to Consent Changes
You can withdraw consent for the collection and use of your child's information at any time.

Data Security for Student Information

Data Retention

- Active Accounts: Information is retained while the parent/student uses our service

- After Account Deletion: Most data is deleted within 30 days; some records may be retained as required by law
When you delete your account or request data deletion, we will remove your child's personal information from our active systems.
Third-Party Services
We use limited third-party services to operate our platform:
- Mapping Services: To display vehicle locations and routes (no student-identifying information is shared)
- Push Notifications: To send alerts to parents (student information is not shared with notification providers)
- Cloud Infrastructure: For secure data storage and processing
